fever. We were having freezing nights so I kept them in the house and the smell
was heavenly.
And look at this wonderful little basket I found at an antique/2nd hand shop. Isthis not adorable to put some flowers in? Of course it will rot easily so I
might coat it with something. Even if it does who cares it will be pretty for a
couple of years anyway.
So cute opened up - a nice backdrop for the flowers.
Bob went to Costco the other day and I had wondered if they had their Sunset WesternGardening book in yet and yes, they did. I love it with their new fantastic
colored pictures. My old one I still won't be able to throw away because of all
of the notes I have written in it. The poor old pages are worn and it's falling
apart because I use it so much. Then why all the error you
ask? I'd probably have a lot more if it weren't for this book I
bought along with this house and yard 20 years ago. Wasn't that sweet of him to
buy it for me? Our 'Bible' of gardening.
I FINALLY got the clay pots for my Tipsy Pot. I was very lucky and got them all atmy favorite guys estate sale the other day. Now I can get that little project
going.
And last but not least - when I went to pick up our 'flower saving' LiquidFence to keep the deer from munching through the whole yard like they did last
spring I saw this Dahlia Mom's Special that I figured I had to have from such a
trying day shopping right? It resembles the Blackberry Ripple that was my
favorite that I lost only it's much lighter and delicate looking. I'll still get
Blackberry though.
